500Kv transmission line tower is the support point of overhead transmission line, one circuit is a single circuit transmission tower, and two circuits are double circuit transmission tower on the transmission tower. A single loop is a loop in which a load has a power supply, and a double loop is a loop with two power sources for a load. In general, enterprises that require high reliability of power supply, or important substations in the region, use double circuit lines to supply power, which can protect one of the power sources from power outages and the other to continue to supply power. But small and medium-sized users who do not require high reliability of power supply often use single power supply.
The recurrence period of meteorological load on 500kV line in China is 30 years or so. After considering the adjustment coefficient of wind load, the reliability setting level is up to the level of 4 grade structure importance reliability which is once in 100 years in the United States.
